As of July 1st, monthly public transport passes in the Community of Madrid will go up in price, although they will continue to benefit from important state and regional bonuses. The subsidy will go from 60% to 40% and the financing will be shared equally by the Governments of Spain and the Community of Madrid.
The youth travel card (15-25 years old) remains at 10 euros per month for the entire network, while the zone passes for adults (26-64 years old) apply a 40% discount, with fares such as 32.70 euros for Zone A or 49.20 euros for zones B3, C1 and C2.
The 10-trip ticket will go up to 7.30 €, still with a reduction compared to its official price of 12.20 €. Additional discounts are also maintained for large families, people with disabilities and people over 65 years old, whose pass remains free.
