In the movie *Cars*, the cars had their own names, rivalries, and glory to pursue; at Jarama, no imagination is needed, because the stars are real trucks with over 1,500 CV competing wheel-to-wheel on the asphalt. On October 3 and 4, the Madrid Jarama – RACE Circuit will host the 39th edition of the FIA European Truck Grand Prix of Spain and the 8th edition of the Spanish Truck Racing Championship. The legendary Madrid Jarama – RACE Circuit once again becomes the stage where tradition, competition, and adrenaline come together. There, the race trucks—with more than 1,500 CV of power (about ten times that of a car, with a 13,000 cm³ engine)—will stage wheel-to-wheel overtakes that heighten the excitement of an unforgettable weekend for the whole family.
You don’t have to be a motorsports expert to enjoy it. The event is also designed for those who have never set foot on a racetrack—both on and off the track.

Everything that’s going to happen on the track (and off it)
Before arriving in Madrid, the trucks in the European series will have raced at circuits such as Misano (Italy), the Slovakia Ring, the Nürburgring (Germany), Most (Czech Republic), Zolder (Belgium), and Le Mans (France), and it is precisely in Madrid where they will wrap up the season, at the final round of the calendar.
For its part, the Spanish Championship wraps up the season with this third and final round of the year, following stops at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia and the Navarra Circuit. The 11 drivers will battle for victory on a unique stage of Spanish motorsports. Each day consists of two races, and in the second race, the reverse grid comes into play:the top eight finishers from the first race start in reverse order (first place starts eighth, second place starts seventh). This turns every lap into a series of overtakes right up to the checkered flag.
Off the track , there’s a Fan Zone, simulators, go-karting, food trucks, and autograph sessions with drivers and teams—all making for a full weekend of family fun.
Who’s competing this year?
The European Championship features Madrid native Antonio Albacete, who is always cheered on by the fans at the Madrid Jarama – RACE Circuit. In addition, Norbert Kiss is once again the clear favorite, with Jochen Hahn and Sascha Lenz among the top contenders.
Meanwhile, in the Spanish Championship, brothers Josy and Jorge Vila are once again the stars of the season, competing in the most special race on the national calendar.
