From October 1, parking in several streets in the neighborhood of Valdezarza (Moncloa-Aravaca) will no longer be free. From today comes into force the extension of the Regulated Parking Service (SER) that adds 701 new regulated parking spaces, 689 of them green for residents and 12 blue for rotation, according to data provided by the Madrid City Council.
The measure aims to improve access to parking for residents and reduce the traffic of cars looking for parking spaces in the neighborhood. The spaces are distributed along the busiest streets: Antonio Machado, Sinesio Delgado, Villaamil, Valle de Anso, San Restituto, Denia, Armenteros, Arciniega, Isla de Long and Alcalde Marín de Alzaga.

From today, those who live in the area must apply for authorization online, by phone 010 or in person to park without penalty and pay the resident rate (24.60 €/year). The SER opening hours are as usual in the capital: until 9 p.m. from Monday to Friday, until 3 p.m. on Saturdays, free of charge on Sundays and holidays.
Visitors can use blue parking spaces for up to 4 hours and green parking spaces for up to 2 hours, with bonuses according to the vehicle’s environmental label.Prices vary according to the label: zero emission cars are exempt, eco cars have a 75% price reduction, C cars 10% and B cars have a 20% surcharge.
This extension of the SER corresponds to the 3rd phase of a plan initiated in 2020, when 763 places were regulated and continued with 957 more in March 2023. As of October 1, the neighborhood will accumulate a total of 2421 spaces, 2306 green and 115 blue.
