Buying vintage furniture is more than a trend: it is an economical and sustainable way to renew the home decor, giving a new life to pieces that are not easily seen in conventional stores (and directly impossible to find in Ikea or any other chain of household items).
This month, Pop Up Chic returns to the Salamanca neighborhood with a new catalog of unique items full of personality. From Thursday 20 to Saturday 22 February, from 11:00 to 21:00 hours, the number 59 of Serrano Street (yes, next to the Golden Mile) will host DECÓ & CHIC: an ephemeral market of vintage furniture and decorative objects of the most original.
More about Pop Up Chic
With their experience in the world of fashion and communication, María Eugenia Fernández-Shaw, Rocío Padura and Rocío Galatas created Pop Up Chic to bring together fashion and decoration firms in elegant spaces with exclusive products. Their ode to chic has admirers inside and outside Madrid: it has passed through the Clerkenwell Gallery in London and the Guadalmina Hotel in Marbella among other iconic places.
In their database, the founders of the flea market have more than 6,000 brands. Some of them are haute couture, others are emerging designers who are making their way and some are small entrepreneurs who leave their profession to devote themselves to fashion.
