Although cocido and paella are very different dishes, they have a common denominator: they are ideal options to preside over a dining table on special dates, and there are few alternatives so nutritious to share with our loved ones when we get together. In Madrid it is more than proven, especially in Preciados 33: the first tavern in Spain where you can order one of these two meals to taste of the consumer and without limit of quantities.
Two menus that are sure to be a hit
Preciados 33 is committed to homemade food. Its extensive menu, in which the typical ingredients of Spanish gastronomy shine, boasts excellent quality. Of all its offerings, the Cocido Madrileño Buffet Meal stands out, which includes a hot or cold starter to choose between patatas bravas, zamburiñas, salmorejo, prawns with garlic, a portion of Iberian ham (Best Ham in Spain 2024) and many others.
As it could not be otherwise, the protagonist of this menu is the famous cocido in all you can eat format, which includes soup with cabellín noodles and, in a separate clay dish, chickpeas, chorizo, beef, chicken, bacon, ham, black pudding, potatoes, carrots and cabbage. A very traditional alternative that rarely fails on a winter day.
The other star menu of the house is the Paella Buffet Meal, which offers the same starters as the stew buffet along with three types of paella to choose from: black rice, arroz del senyoret and rice with chicken.
The price of both menus is 33€ per adult. Children, as in many buffets in the capital, pay less: 18€ for those between 3 and 7 years old, and 23€ for those between 8 and 12. It can be enjoyed any day of the week for lunch (from 13:00 to 16:30) and dinner (from 20:00 to 23:45).
