It had to be in a place like Bar Menéndez where prices as hard to believe as the ones that have motivated the writing of this article were offered.
And the fact is that in this stall of the Santa María de la Cabeza Market (Paseo de Santa María de la Cabeza, 41), occupying stalls 27, 27 Bis and 52, this business has been located for 12 years and has earned the affection and loyalty of its parishioners based on good work in the kitchen and good prices.
This is corroborated by some of the reviews that have left them on Google -where they have a rating of 4.6 out of 5-, and in which they repeat the unbeatable value for money and the close and familiar treatment of the staff.
Bar Menéndez prices
The menus of the day are a safe bet to eat cheaply and well and certainly at the prices of Bar Menéndez it seems difficult to find competition: if you order the dishes from the menu to take away the first one comes out for 3,50€ and the second one for 4,50€. In other words: you can have a good home-cooked meal for 8€.
