The Madrid municipality of Hoyo de Manzanares is now in the final days of its patron saint festivities in honor of La Virgen de la Encina: celebrations that will culminate in grand style this Wednesday, September 9, with a space-themed drone show to serve as the grand finale of these festive days.
The event, organized by the Spanish company UMILES, will begin at 10:30 p.m. at the Las Eras Municipal Sports Center and will feature more than a hundred drones. As we mentioned, the show will revolve around space, so figures of planets, constellations, and spaceships will be drawn in the sky through synchronized choreography.
The company, which has already presented shows of this kind on three previous occasions in Hoyo de Manzanares, returns to the town for the fourth consecutive year with a show designed for audiences of all ages to enjoy.
“For this year’s festival, we wanted to surprise the audience with something different: a journey through space that allows us to create stunning visuals and immerse spectators in an experience full of excitement and wonder,” said Ernesto Albacete, commercial director of UMILES.
