Only those who own a car in Madrid know how difficult it is to park near home on a daily basis. In response to this problem, the Madrid City Council will open the application period on Monday, October 26, for parking permits for the 198 spaces at the parking lot located in the multifunctional building at 6 Fúcar Street, in the Centro district. The monthly fee will be 158 euros for cars and 60 euros for motorcycles.
The process will give priority to people with limited mobility, residents of the surrounding area, and those who carry out economic or professional activities in the area. During the first month of registration, an initial list will be compiled for residents of the area who own electric vehicles. If spaces remain available, the process will be extended to other residents, as well as merchants and professionals within the scope established by municipal regulations.
How to Apply for a Parking Space

Applications must be submitted through the Centro Municipal Council, either in person or electronically at City Hall. Applicants must provide identification, vehicle information, and proof of residence; depending on the circumstances, documents verifying reduced mobility or economic or professional activity in the area may also be required.
Applications submitted before October 26 will be considered invalid, so applying early will not provide any advantage. As part of the process, applications will be processed in the order they are received by the Registry and in accordance with the priorities established by the City Council. The opening of the application period does not guarantee automatic approval: obtaining a parking permit will depend on meeting the requirements and the availability of spaces.
