A portal to the forests of Ireland will open this Halloween right in the heart of Madrid. The NOMAD Immersive Museum hosts “Samhain: A Portal Between Two Worlds.” Step into the origins of Halloween, an interactive theatrical performance that invites the audience to delve into the darkest Celtic legends. The event, sponsored by Tourism Ireland, turns the American perspective on this holiday on its head.
The emphasis on mystery and participation remains: visitors are immersed in a setting inspired by Irish forests, the backdrop for the legends that shape the show. Each session lasts 15 minutes, and the experience is suitable for all ages, making it a great way to enjoy Halloween as a family.
(Almost) free admission over the weekend

The sessions will take place over three days. On Thursday, October 29, there will be showings from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., while on Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, visitors can attend from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The venue will be the NOMAD Immersive Museum, located at 78 Gran Vía, next to the Plaza de España metro station.
Admission is free, though advance reservations are required through entradas.com. A processing fee of 0.60 euros per person per performance applies when booking, so there is a small cost associated with the reservation. Those who wish to step through this unique Halloween portal must secure their spot before visiting the museum.
