Alcalá de Henares, a university city and World Heritage Site, will have a new building that is far removed from those admired in its historic center. A skyscraper 80 meters high that will be called Torre Cervanteswill be installed in the middle of avenida de Madrid. This street connects the tourist area of the municipality with La Garena, a young neighborhood with important commercial areas and its own commuter train station.
What will the floors of the new tower be like?
The Cervantes Tower exceeds in size the Torre Garena, which until now was the tallest building in all of Alcalá at 71 meters high. The new skyscraper in Alcalá will be for residential use and will have services typical of high-end housing: outdoor swimming pool; large landscaped areas; a multipurpose room; storage rooms; garages and even play areas for children.

Some homes in the tower are already for sale on Idealista. According to the real estate portal, the price of all of them is between €256,163 and €383,609. The most affordable are those on the second floor, with 107 square meters and three bedrooms. The most expensive ones are from the 18th floor upwards, with 110 sqm and privileged views of the neighborhood. Idealista expects the keys to be handed over to the residents of the tower in 2027, once the construction of the homes is completed.
Alcalá de Henares is in full growth. In January 2024 the creation of La Seda was confirmed, a new neighborhood between Olivar and Espartales that will have spaces for commerce and 2,500 homes with terrace and parking space.
