You need to travel only about 40 kilometers from the capital to go back centuries in time. At least this weekend, when the Madrid municipality of Alpedrete celebrates a new edition of its lively medieval market.
It will be from 20 to 22 September and will take the Town Hall Square and its surroundings with its craft stalls (perfumes, soaps, toys, wood decoration, glass, ceramics, clothing and jewelry) and gastronomy: sausages, roasts, pies, teas, spices, sweets, chocolate, sweets…
To all the above we must add the street animation, which will help to create that historical atmosphere thanks to the music, the shows and the different activities.
