Large windows, a well-stocked table for the occasion, a Christmas tree presiding over the scene and, as a final detail, candles floating over the heads of the diners. The Great Dining Hall of Hogwarts comes off the screen to the delight of Harry Potter fans, who can visit it for free starting this Saturday, December 20 in Madrid.
The recreation of this iconic setting is located at Espacio Movistar (Gran Vía, 28) and is part of El km 0 de la Navidad, its Christmas program, which will be held from December 20 to January 5, 2026. To attend it is necessary to book a place in advance through this link.
The ticket gives access to the entire space, which concentrates other interactive proposals such as magic sessions, a post office to send letters to Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men and meetings with characters from children’s series. You can check them out on the official website of the event.
Free film screenings
In the program you can also find another activity related to the saga: the full screening of the film saga of the young magician. However, tickets, like a Nimbus 2000, have been flying fast until they are sold out.
Those looking for a family plan with young children will be luckier, because among the free screenings for which tickets are still available – at least at the time of writing – are the first episodes of the second season of Ninja Turtles Stories (December 24 at 10:15am) and Dora (December 26 at 12:15pm and 4:15pm).
If you would like to attend any of the screenings, you must purchase an additional ticket here, as the general visit to the space does not include the film sessions.
