The Semana de Cine Español de Carabanchel, one of the most awaited events by moviegoers, already has dates for the celebration of its 43rd edition: it will be from January 20 to 26, 2025 when different spaces of the Madrid district will host completely free screenings of the best films that were released over the past year.
As usual, the screenings will take place in two locations in the neighborhood: the Lázaro Carreter Cultural Center (Calle de la Verdad, 29) and the San Francisco La Prensa Cultural Center (Calle Aliseda, 4).
First, a short film from the finalists of the 35th Short Film Contest will be screened, followed by a film. At the end of each session, there will be a discussion with the audience that will include “the presence of a member of the crew of both short films and feature films,” as reported by the organization.
