Christmas ornaments, traditional handicrafts, cheeses, chocolate and typical Swiss products. This could be a first approach to the Swiss Christmas market that the Association of Swiss Ladies in Madrid (ADAS) is holding again this year for three days: from 28 to 30 November 2025.
With it you can experience firsthand a small sample of what Central European Christmas markets are like just half an hour from the capital by car: in the Swiss Club of Madrid (Burgos road, Km. 14), in Alcobendas.
Taking a look among the items at the flea market, of which its organizers emphasize “a Christmas and family atmosphere”, you will find, in addition to the aforementioned, gift items and their celebrated handmade advent wreaths, which are made every year by ADAS members.
On the other hand, for the entertainment of young and old, there will be performances by clowns from the Theodora Foundation, face painting, live music and a choir with Christmas carols.
Gastronomy and typical Swiss products
There will also be room for gastronomy, with a tea room, barbecue, bar and bakery and Swiss products. For example, the typical “Glühwein” (mulled wine) can be tasted on site.
And that’s not all: although it is not a member of the association, the Swiss Chalet restaurant is located within the club, which collaborates with the flea market and offers Swiss dishes such as raclette and fondue on its menu.
A flea market with charitable purposes (and good prizes).

The ADAS Swiss Christmas market has, since its origins more than 40 years ago, a charitable vocation. That is why every year they organize a Great Charity Raffle whose funds “go to charitable associations and foundations in the Community of Madrid”.
The raffle vouchers are priced at €2 and those who participate can win prizes such as hotel nights, restaurant meals, wines, official soccer balls, perfumes or a special basket with Swiss products.
