Garrapateras, garrapateros: it’s happening. Los Delinqüentes are preparing their comeback after almost 15 years without being on stage. They will do it in one of the great stadiums of Madrid, Movistar Arena, on April 24, 2026. A concert that they announced last night at La Revuelta with a guitar hit with Esos bichos que nacen de los claveles and a heartfelt tribute to Er Migue (founder of the band, who died in 2004). Although there is still more than a year to go, we give you the keys to such a great event for Spanish music.
This concert will also be a tribute and remembrance to the band itself, as it will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first album of the Jerez band, El sentimiento garrapatero que nos traen las flores . The album will be played in its entirety and, it is presumed, that great hits of their discography will also be added. As in the presentation of Broncano’s program, Migue Benítez will be part of the event with his image and voice on a giant screen.
Los Delinqüentes were born from a song by Kiko Veneno in 1998 in San José Obrero, a neighborhood of Jerez de la Frontera. A project of Miguel Ángel Benítez Gómez “Er Migue” and Marcos del Ojo, “Er Canijo de Jeré” (later joined by Diego Pozo “Er Ratón”), who left us eternal jewels such as La primavera trompetera, El aire de la calle, Poeta encadenado, De los matorrales…
Last summer this return was already rumored due to some statements made by Canijo de Jerez himself to the newspaper Última Hora: “the stars are aligning for us to give a surprise”. The Jerez-born singer talked about some out-of-print demos that he wanted to recover, releasing some unreleased tracks and… he left open the possibility of starting a tour with the band formed with El Ratón and Miguel Ángel’s brother. Last night, in Broncano’s program, the rumor became confirmation with the announcement of this date in Madrid.
The mark of the garrapateros and garrapateras is deep. In the very neighborhood where they were born as a band, there is a mural in tribute to the late Miguel Angel and the band’s fans continue to make pilgrimages there.
When will tickets go on sale?
Tickets will go on sale next Tuesday, February 25th at 11.00h through Fever. For the more “garrapateros” and “garrapateras”, an exclusive pre-sale has been activated: those who register on the website of the promoter of the event, Last Tour, will be able to access the tickets one day before, on February 24 at 11.00h.
