Every June 21, coinciding with the summer solstice, European Music Day is celebrated, an event that promotes cultural exchange through music. And in Madrid, DEMM (European Music Day at Matadero) is already a classic, with a history that began in 2009 and returns once again this year with a program of eight concerts and two matinee sessions for just five euros.
DEMM26 will take place from June 19 to 21, 2026, with the Matadero plaza serving as the venue for the concerts and the Columns Hall at the Design Center hosting the morning sessions, which are designed to be enjoyed by the whole family.
This year’s edition will feature a dozen artists and bands, whose sounds range from indie rock to electronic music, with a lineup including pablopablo, Maria Arnal, Depresión Sonora, Alizzz, Ángeles Toledano, Rita Payés and Lucía Fumero, Gazzi, and Akazie.
