Food lovers have an appointment this weekend in the Madrid town of Boadilla del Monte on the occasion of what will be the First Fair of Latin American Gastronomy of the municipality.
For three days -from October 10 to 12- the event will be offering traditional dishes from Spanish cuisine and from countries such as Peru, Venezuela, Honduras or Mexico at a single price of only 5 €.
As for its location, the I Feria de la Gastronomía Hispanoamericana de Boadilla will take place on Avenida Adolfo Suárez with the participation of 13 establishments in the municipality. Thus, beyond a leisure plan will also be an initiative to vindicate the local hospitality.
13 establishments, 13 dishes to choose from
Each of the participating restaurants will prepare a different dish for the occasion, so that those who come to the fair can choose which one to taste from more than a dozen proposals. They are the following:
- Boadilla beef. Patatas revolconas con torreznos and ensaladilla rusa.
- Cafeteria bar Como en Casa. Tres Leches Cake and Quesillo.
- Dentorno Pizzeria. Bocado ibérico (Iberian chorizo and smoked tetilla cheese) and Bocado goloso (nocilla).
- El Invernadero de Boadilla. Carpaccio of matured cow and glass bread with Iberian ham.
- Inmigrante Madrid. Vuelve a la vida” cocktail and Venezuelan chicken and beef empanadas.
- La Lonja del Palacio. Crab cream and anchovies in vinegar.
- La Puerta de Boadilla. Honduran enchilada and catrachas.
- Las Mañanitas Boadilla. Beef Chilorio taco, Cochinita Pibil taco with a bowl of nachos with beans, cheddar cheese and guacamole.
- Linguini. Tempura shrimp sam with kimchi mayonnaise and mini Tudanca beef burger with red pesto.
- My kitchen in your house. Chicken chili and chaufa rice.
- Suyo Restaurant. Ceviche and Pisco Sour.
- San Babilés. Paella and tortilla de patatas.
- Taberna Gallina. Steak tartar with northern piparras over grilled marrow and Cantabrian cheesecake.
