Starting this Friday, June 12, three squares in central Madrid will be transformed into free, open-air summer movie theaters: a highly anticipated and popular form of summer entertainment that, year after year, thousands of Madrid residents choose to make the most of the evenings during the capital’s hottest months.
The venues chosen by the Centro Municipal Council to host a new edition of this summer movie series, which will run through July, are some of the district’s most iconic: Plaza de Barceló, Plaza de la Corrala, and Las Vistillas.
There, on weekends in June and July starting at 9 p.m., you can enjoy a lineup featuring animated films, adventure movies, comedies, and dramas, designed for audiences of all ages.
