Local food is in fashion. In the capital there are dozens of itinerant markets in which, in addition to take home authentic delicacies, we can help producers of the Community of Madrid and surroundings to make their brand known. This good habit has also reached the Madrid municipality of Torrelodones, which in 2024 will once again celebrate its Gastro Rastro: a space with tasting stalls where suppliers and visitors can connect directly.
Gastro Rastro will be organized next Saturday morning, September 7, from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm, in the Plaza de la Constitución. It will have more than 25 stalls where you can buy gourmet ingredients for all tastes.
Specialty coffees, wines, signature beers (such as those of Maltacaballar, made in the Sierra de Guadarrama), cheeses (among which highlights the Manchegan La Mueda), donuts and homemade jams, artisan nougat, sardines, organic eggs and many other local products will have a place here. A great opportunity to promote local trade in the north of Madrid.
