After winning the award for best design villa at the LIV Hospitality Awards (2022), Casa Torremocha is now for sale. The mansion, designed by architect Ignacio Borrego, stands out for its staggered structure, with two levels very well used: the lower one, with a pool that mimics the shore of a beach, and the upper one, warm and bright, with a roof like a soccer field.
Located on a hillside south of Somosierra (north of Madrid), it boasts privileged views of the surrounding natural environment, from which the Lozoya River can be heard murmuring. It has an area of 300 square meters and has three bedrooms with their respective terraces; three bathrooms; living room with integrated kitchen and photovoltaic installations. It also has a fireplace and insulated floor on the top floor to completely eliminate the feeling of cold in winter.
The building is unique for its geometry, its efficient sustainable elements and its multifunctional roof dedicated to sports. Its owner, for unknown reasons, has decided to dispense with it, entrusting the sale of the property to the Kertz’s real estate agency, the family that shows luxury homes on Netflix.
Ignacio Borrego assured in the program Mi cámara y yo that the price of the construction of Casa Torremocha is around €1,500 per square meter. The portal Idealista revealed that it is currently valued at 3,500,000 euros.
