Oh, Benito, what a mess you’ve made in Madrid. May will end on a high note with the Puerto Rican’s first two concerts in the city. But June… June comes with all the guns blazing: eight more Bad Bunny concerts, two BTS concerts with the full lineup, two more dates with Linkin Park and their brand-new vocalist Emily Armstrong, as well as underground bands (who also know how to sell out).
This month, rock will come in emo format (for those nostalgic for La Dispute), stoner ( with Clutch)… in short, all kinds (literally, if we’re referring to the well-teased, glam rock hairstyles of Starbenders). We are also eagerly awaiting KNEECAP’s first indoor concert and the atmospheric and electronic sensibility of the unmissable OKLOU (both of these concerts are already sold out). How many will you be going to?
Bad Bunny (June 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 14, and 15)

From €70
The Super Bowl was just the beginning: Bad Bunny is also in charge of kicking off the musical month with eight almost consecutive dates at the Riyadh Air Metropolitan. We’ll stick with that line from the epic BOKeTE: The invitation to the beach expired. No one saw the best of us. Or maybe it was that life lied to us and it was time to say goodbye. We’ll say goodbye on the 15th, after ten concerts in Madrid.

From €35
More than thirty years on stage make Clutch absolute experts at reading the audience and giving them exactly what they want. Always with a dose of excellence and sublime melodies that, without artifice, are effective and stick in your chest, blow after blow. As the leading representatives of stoner rock, they will revisit classics and present songs from their latest album, Sunrise on Slaughter Beach.

Ireland, what an amazing country. It’s producing the most groundbreaking, political, vocal (and box office smash) bands on the globe. And in this context, KNEECAP are probably the leaders: Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí have managed to get more Irish people to study and speak Gaelic again, to have the Palestinian flag flying in the most unexpected places, and to make rap as combative as it promised to be decades ago.

This June, we welcome a second artist who is taking to the stage in Madrid for the first time: OKLOU started her career with synthesizers, keyboards, and voice effects. Her atmospheric electronica will embrace us on June 10 at La Riviera.
KOMPROMAT (Vitalic & Rebeka Warrior) (June 12)
From €28
What materials could get you into trouble if they were discovered? This is Kompromat. So is the union of Vitalic and Rebeka Warrior, a power couple on the decks to tear up the dance floor at La Riviera.
Nadadora (June 13)
From €20
Nadadora are back. Twelve years later, they’re back. The band from O Grove closed a chapter that was expected to last forever almost fifteen years ago. But indie is back in the form of a new album (called Mañana y siempre). We eagerly await their return.
Nuovo Testamento (June 13)
From €18.87
We owe so much, so very much, to All Waves Promotions… This small but mighty Madrid-based production company has brought all the good things that have happened to Madrid’s venues in recent years: synth pop, dark wave, post punk… from all over the world. And now, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!, they’re bringing the Italian-American band Nuovo Testamento so we can dance and wear out the floor at the Wurlitzer Ballroom.

From €32
If what you’re into is feeling your chest vibrate, your emotions modulated by guitars, the ever-present bass leading us into the abyss of doom, psychedelia that suddenly surprises you… Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats is your home.

From €32
North Carolinastoner rock at its best. Corrosion will land in Madrid after playing at the mecca of rock, the Azkena Rock Festival.

From €24
How we love a good mop of hair, a good sequin, a good pearl, and an open shirt: glam rock is not dead. It lives on in bands that dignify the genre and bring back to the stage a dirty punk that doesn’t have to be literal: theatricality, good looks, the incredible Starbenders.

From €27
Spoken word, emo, a “spiritual” touch in every song… a prayer shouted out loud that La Dispute has been proclaiming for 22 years. Now, they return to Madrid, surrounded by the enthusiasm of those of us who have sung, shouted, and prayed with them. They will play songs from their latest album, No One Was Driving the Car, and we eagerly await the chance to join in with the lyrics I think I saw you in my sleep, darling / I think I saw you in my dreams / You were stitching up the seams / On every broken promise from Such Small Hands.
Alejandro Sanz (June 20)

From €38.50
And now what +?, says Alejandro Sanz as he stares into our eyes with his blue eyes. In this latest album, Sanz appears to be jumping into the void? He is ethereal, above it all, with decades of wisdom, road experience, and a meteoric career. Now, he does what he wants, how he wants. And we will see him at the Riyadh Air Metropolitan on June 20.
Shego (June 20)

From €20.13
One of our favorite concert series in the city, Sound Isidro, has a big surprise in store this June: Shego is back with a new lineup that’s not so new, welcoming back Irenegarry, who joins Raquel Cerro, Charlotte Augusteijn, and Elena Sabio.
Rodrigo Cuevas (June 24)
Rodrigo, whatever you do, wherever you go, we’ll go with you. The Asturian will bring his new album, La Belleza, to Tierno Galván Park. He’ll do so, not only in a magical place, but on a cosmic night: the night of San Juan.
Linkin Park (June 23 and 24)

From €84
Would Chester have wanted it this way? We don’t know, and we don’t care. The news is that Linkin Park is continuing its career with a female voice that we could define as THE voice. Emily Armstrong’s vocal cords are prodigious, with a range that is beyond comparison. Maybe Linkin Park isn’t the same as it always was, it’s different, new, exciting. And we’re okay with that.
Miss Caffeina (June 25)

From €25
It’s impossible not to remember that erotic, romantic, festive moment in Paquita Salas when , while Miss Caffeina sings Venimos del mismo lugar De un año de mierda, de rabia sexual…(We come from the same place From a shitty year, of sexual rage…), the characters in the series share licks and kisses. But alas, Miss Caffeina is this and much more: they are danceable, lively songs, a refuge of color in these uncertain times. They are also soul and mischief. They will play in the Tierno Galván auditorium as part of the La Carbonería de Galván festival .

From €79
K-Pop is here to stay, to create community, to enjoy the music, the aesthetics, even the cuisine of South Korea. What bands of this genre generate is more than fanaticism, it is an international family that expands across the seas, defends itself, and enjoys, like no one else, massive shows. In this whole movement, BTS are the kings: what’s more, it will be the first time that all the members of BTS have performed together in Madrid since their debut, making these two dates unmissable for fans.
