On Sunday, March 22, the El Bulevar de La Moraleja Shopping Center (Paseo de Alcobendas, 10) will host the third edition of Déballage de La Moraleja, a French-style antique market featuring more than 30 antique dealers and secondhand vendors from Spain, France, and Portugal.
The event is designed for both lovers of antiques and interior design as well as collectors, who will find a selection of items ranging from furniture —such as sofas, armchairs, tables, and mirrors— to lamps, art, tableware, and original decorative objects.
As a new feature this time,“signature designs from the 1950s and 1970s, porcelain tableware, and English silver cutlerywill be highlighted, along with chrome lamps and distressed English chests of drawers,” explain the event organizers.
Some of the pieces that are most popular with the public “and that fly off the shelves as soon as they arrive” are the extra-large sofas with curved lines, game tables, Manises lamps, and ceramic soup tureens.
On the other hand, the world of Tintin will make a strong showing this time, with both figurines and comic books available at the market.
La Moraleja Antiques Market Hours

This third edition of Déballage de La Moraleja will take place on a single day, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., so you’ll only have a few hours to hunt for that new vintage piece (or pieces) you want to add to your collection or home décor.
For this reason, and to ensure you can find the widest possible variety, we recommend that if you’re interested, you arrive first thing in the morning.
