Madrid now knows the details of the upcoming edition of MADO. The capital’s Pride will be held from June 25 to July 5, 2026, under the slogan “Citizen Pride, ” an expression associated with Pedro Zerolo that this year returns to the center of the celebration’s political and social discourse.
The organization—composed of AEGAL, COGAM, and FELGTBI+—envisions an event focused on the defense of civil rights and the participation of all citizens. Regarding this approach to championing Pride, the organization states: “Pride is not a demonstration by a single group; it is a cause shared by all citizens.”
For eleven days, downtown Madrid will once again become a huge open-air stage featuring free concerts, cultural activities, human rights forums, and the traditional national parade.
Among the most prominent names on the lineup are Tokischa, Mon Laferte, Kany García, Loles León, Ptazeta, Fey, Villano Antillano, Blanca Paloma, Nuria Fergó, María Pelae, Pasión Vega, and Lucía de la Puerta, in addition to dozens of artists spread across the festival’s various stages.
Four squares transformed into Pride stages
The musical program will once again be spread across some of the most iconic venues in downtown Madrid. Plaza de España will host the major concerts and galas, while Puerta del Sol, Plaza de las Reinas, and Plaza de Pedro Zerolo will round out the lineup with performances, DJ sets, drag shows, and events related to LGBTIQ+ culture.
One of the most anticipated moments will take place on Saturday, July 4, in Plaza de España with a night featuring a strong Latin flair. Artists such as Flans, Yadam, Fey, Monsieur Periné, Diana Hoyos, Mon Laferte, and Loles León will take the stage.
Puerta del Sol will feature urban and electronic music. Performers there will include, among others, Tokischa, Villano Antillano, Naiara, Sita Abellán, Bea Pelea, Albany, and Sora Éke, creating a space specifically aimed at Pride’s new audiences.
Meanwhile, Plaza de las Reinas will bring together artists such as Blanca Paloma, Ptazeta, Lucía de la Puerta, Nuria Fergó, Mariana Ochoa, and Zeus Montiel, while Pedro Zerolo will maintain its more community-oriented character with shows produced by local venues and historic groups from the Chueca neighborhood.
The parade will once again follow the Prado-Colón route
The main Pride event will take place on Saturday, July 4, at 7:00 p.m. The National LGBTIQ+ Pride Parade will follow its usual route from the Carlos V roundabout to Plaza de Colón under the slogan “Take to the streets with pride! Dissent and resistance.”
The call for participation comes at a time that the organizing entities describe as particularly significant due to the rise in attacks against the LGBTIQ+ community and the surge in exclusionary rhetoric. The goal, they explain, is to celebrate the progress made and to demand new measures that guarantee effective equality.
Meanwhile, Madrid’s Critical Pride will feature the participation of the Madrid Group for Sexual Diversity and Full Inclusion on Sunday , June 28, 2026. The group has called for a gathering at 6:15 p.m . at the Carpetana Metro station entrance to march together to the demonstration, scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The march will end at Plaza Elíptica and aims to advocate for an LGBTIQA+ movement that is accessible, transformative, and leaves no one behind.
