Fuenlabrada has been betting on urban art for years. In its streets and buildings is deployed a real museum of murals, the Museum of Urban Art of Fuenlabrada (MAUF), which brings together works by some of the best artists in the world.
Among them stands out Murfin, whose work “Niños Perdidos” (Lost Children) is a candidate to be chosen as the best mural in the world on the Street Art Cities platform. This project, active since 2016, gathers on its map the best works of street art in more than 2500 cities around the world and each year allows the community to vote for the most outstanding murals of the year.
Now, Fuenlabrada has the opportunity to join this list by the hand of Murfin, with its mural located on Calle del Tesillo, 1 in the town. To encourage the population to vote for “Niños Perdidos”, the City Council is raffling a trip to Berlin for two people among all the participants in the survey.
Murfin’s fantastic universe

The candidate mural shows a girl hugging a toy crocodile that seems to come to life, as it could jump off the wall to protect her. It highlights the little girl’s intense gaze and the strong, bold colors that extend across the entire facade, generating a sense of movement and depth.
Its author, Murfin, received the Andalucía Joven award in 2020 and in recent years has made the leap from local to international recognition. His creations are characterized by a strong color palette and an original style, where landscapes, animals or fantastic characters are always present.
With “Niños Perdidos” he competes with other urban artists to be among the best works of the year 2025. This is not the first time he participates in Street Art Cities, as in February of this year he won second place in the best works of the month with his mural “Your Dreams”. The project is located in the Cereal Silo in Linares (Jaén), Murfin’s hometown, which allowed him to remember and pay homage to his origins.
A trip from Fuenlabrada to Berlin

To promote Murfin’s work, the Fuenlabrada City Council has organized a raffle among those who vote for “Niños Perdidos”. The winner will get a trip for two to Berlin and can participate until November 10.
The mechanics is very simple: just vote for Murfin in Street Art Cities, take a screenshot and upload it to the form provided by the consistory.
Urban art in the city

In 2019, Fuenlabrada turned its streets into an open museum: the MAUF (Museo de Arte Urbano de Fuenlabrada), which brings urban art closer to everyday life. Since then, several facades, squares and corners of the city are transformed into the canvases of different artistic murals and paintings.
Its catalog includes works by internationally recognized artists such as Okuda San Miguel, Suso33, Dulk, Eva Mena or Sixe Paredes, who create a dialogue between creativity and urban space.
The project aims to generate conversation, reflection and collective enjoyment. To reach its audience, the MAUF organizes free guided tours, whose tickets can be purchased 10 days before each event, either from the City Hall website or at the box office of the Tomás y Valiente theater. The next tour will be on November 23 at 12:00 noon.
