There are two events that run through most of the millennial generation: economic crises and Harry Potter. That’s why the announcement of the new series about the young wizard on HBO, even if we still have to wait two years to see it, has stirred the nostalgia and interest of many.
Aware of the craze that awakens the saga, the American network has decided to give an appetizer in the form of a season. Thus, at the end of the month, Madrid becomes the scene of magic with the arrival of an experience inspired by the Harry Potter universe. The Railway Museum ( Paseo de las Delicias, 61) will open its doors for free for only 48 hours to host this thematic event.
The event will take place on August 31 and September 1 and will immerse fans and onlookers in a tour decorated and set as the famous Platform 9¾, the Hogwarts Express and other emblematic corners of the castle. The setting will allow visitors to feel like students who have just arrived at the school of magic, with interactive spaces, areas designed to take pictures and various activities that recreate the atmosphere of the magical world. The highlight will come on September 1 at 11:00 a.m., when the famous “countdown” will take place, honoring the departure of the Hogwarts train in London and marking the beginning of a new school year for wizards and witches.
Tickets for the experience are completely free, but are already sold out. The visit lasts about half an hour, with limited and nominative passes (maximum four per person), and it is essential to be accompanied if you are a minor.
The initiative is part of the international events of Back to HogwartsThe initiative is part of the international Back to Hogwarts events, which every first day of September bring together fans at stations around the world, and comes to Madrid as a prelude to the premiere of the new series on HBO and the special theatrical re-release of The Goblet of Fire.
