Immersive experiences have been taking over the cultural landscape. It’s no longer enough to see an exhibition and come away with some newly acquired knowledge – and some photo to prove it for Instagram – now they have to be a tour for the senses as well. This is the way to capture the attention of visitors who now live the experience with their cell phones in their hands. Entertainment and culture come together in this new exhibition format that is here to stay.
1. Marvel. Universe of Super Heroes (from November 15)
Marvel celebrates 85 years. An anniversary that the House of Ideas will celebrate in Madrid with a great retrospective exhibition of its comics and films. But also with a soundtrack designed specifically for the exhibition by Lorne Balfe (who has participated in the musical production of Black Widow or The Crown) and different immersive scenarios that will reproduce scenes and key moments in the Marvel comics.
🗓️ From November 15.
📍 Avenida del Partenón, 5 (Barajas)
2. Hidden evidence
It is not an exhibition, it is a game. A game in which you must adopt the role of detective for a day. The centrally located Fernán Núñez Palace is transformed into a crime scene: in this mansion, the corpse of the Marquise has appeared and there are six suspects. Upon entering, you will be able to investigate the different rooms, looking for clues, analyzing the corpse, meddling in the conversations of the suspects…

3. The legend of the Titanic
It is the night of April 14, 1912 and in the middle of the North Atlantic a tragedy is about to happen. Matadero’s immersive exhibition The Legend of the Titanic takes visitors into the bowels of one of the most talked-about shipwrecks to learn about the key events leading up to the disaster as well as the details of the sinking of the so-called “unsinkable”.

4. The experience that traces the history and the worlds of the Tomorrowland festival.
The Belgian festival Tomorrowland is a whole universe: not only the music is key, but the different worlds that are created every year around the rhythms of the best DJs in the world and the coexistence of the festival. This atmosphere is what is transferred to the Crystal Room of the WiZink Center: an immersive experience through these creations taken from the imagination of the festival organizers, magical, dreamlike, impossible universes, made real thanks to the latest technology.
The journey begins with a brief introduction to the 20-year history of Tomorrowland and a series of digital installations that explore the keys to the festival (what is it? what characterizes it? what is its essence?) and that allow to better understand these mythical realms before the absolute immersion. At the end, the icing on the cake, a virtual reality experience to enter the magical worlds of Tomorrowland without leaving the WiZink Center.
🗓️ When:Monday to Friday from 17.30h. Saturdays and Sundays from 10am. Special schedules for holidays and Christmas.
📍 Location: Sala de Cristal of WiZink Center: Calle Fuente del Berro 50, Puerta 50 Avenida de Felipe, II (Salamanca).
💸 Admission: from 18,50€. Special prices for children, families and groups.
