“Madrid’s first Mango Home arrives at Moraleja Green“. In black letters on a white background, as seen in a video uploaded to Instagram by the account @vecinoslamoraleja, this message can be read since a few weeks ago in one of the spaces of this shopping center in Alcobendas (Avenida de Europa, 13).
The future opening – planned for “late 2025”, according to the brand – is part of an expansion strategy of its home line that will reach other cities such as Zaragoza and Bilbao before the end of the year.
Since last April, Mango Home’s first store in the world has been in operation: it is located at 586 Avinguda Diagonal in Barcelona and has nearly 400 square meters. It will be joined, during the last four months of the year, by a second point of sale in Barcelona.
What can be found in Mango Home?
The range of products in its home line – more than 60% of which are made in Europe – has increased considerably, from 1,600 products in 2024 to 6,000 in 2025, with two collections a year. Among the categories of items that can be listed are the following:
- Decoration.
- Houseware.
- References for all rooms in the home.
- New line of fragrances.
- Lighting.
- Textile collection for baby and kids.
As for the style, they define it in these terms: “contemporary and with a unique character, creating collections that bring warmth and personality to homes, always with a focus on craftsmanship and timeless design, and with the Mediterranean spirit of the brand”. That craftsmanship can be seen in pieces such as hand-painted tableware, blown glass or hand embroidery.
The rise of the home sector

The commitment of textile brands to home lines, although not new (one of the first examples that will probably come to mind is Zara Home), seems to be experiencing a certain boom.
This trend has led other brands such as Lefties (also part of the Inditex group) to launch their own line of home products while remaining true to their low-cost nature: Lefties Home.
