There is a clear trend among fashion and fast fashion brands to diversify, that is, to open independent decoration lines, following the successful trail of Zara and Zara Home. Mango Home has been one of the most recent, because although online started in 2021, its physical opening has been more discreet and now opens its first store in Madrid, after three openings this year, two in Barcelona and another in Zaragoza.
The store is located in Moraleja Green (Alcobendas),occupies about 255 square meters and is organized as a complete floor where the collections are displayed by environments: living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, terrace or children’s area.
This is the first Mango Home store in Madrid.
The brand focuses mainly on textiles, homeware, a small selection of lighting, rugs, fragrances and decorative objects, but does not yet have furniture. Mango Home follows the current trends of Mediterranean airs with clean lines, warm, neutral materials, natural fibers and few prints.
In the store, timeless basics, washed cotton duvet covers, linen cushions, thick knitted blankets, simple tableware, coexist with more special pieces, such as sculptural lamps, designer vases and Christmas decorations for these dates. Candles, diffusers, small sheets, baskets and accessories with which to change the atmosphere also have a place.
