Since March 28, service on Metro Line 10 has been suspended between the Cuzco and Nuevos Ministerios stations, with the Santiago Bernabéu station remaining closed for a complete renovation until the end of the year. Starting this Friday, July 4, the service suspension on the line will be extended to also include the Cuzco station.
With this new service interruption on Line 10, which will remain in effect throughout the summer—and is expected to last until the end of August—the section of service that is suspended will now be the stretch between the Nuevos Ministerios and Plaza de Castilla stations.
Among the work to be carried out during the improvement project—which has a budget of 1.7 million euros—are the waterproofing of the infrastructure and the removal of asbestos from the station’s vault and technical rooms.
Free replacement bus service: S10 Plaza de Castilla – Nuevos Ministerios

Passengers affected by the station closure can use the same free replacement bus service that has been in operation since last March, which already covers the section between Nuevos Ministerios and Plaza de Castilla.
According to the Madrid Regional Transportation Consortium (CRTM), 15 buses will be in service during peak hours, operating on the following schedules and frequencies:
