If you are one of those people who find it hard to decide on an outfit when going out, you will be happy to know about the existence of Moral en Blanco. As happens every year with the Lavender Festival, those attending this original festival held in Moralzarzal, in the Sierra de Guadarrama, are invited to come dressed in white.
The event, which takes place this weekend -Saturday, August 2, 2025-, is “one of the most awaited and special events of the summer“, in the words of the Town Hall of the municipality. This is not just a figure of speech: last year they registered an attendance of more than 3,000 people, between neighbors and visitors.
A success that not only hope to replicate but also exceed on this occasion. The night will begin at 10 pm with a parade that will leave from the Plaza de la Constitución and will go along Antón Street to end at Avenida Salvador Sánchez Frascuelo. There, in the bullring, will take place the other highlight of the night.
The great concert of Moral en Blanco 2025
To end the evening in style, the Youth Orchestra of the Sierra de Madrid (JOsM) -committed to bringing classical music to the villages of the Sierra de Madrid through young talent- will star in a concert by the light of hundreds of candles.
As for the repertoire, pieces well known to the general public will be played, namely:

- John Williams suite – J. Williams
- A Whole New World – Aladdin

- The Avengers suite – The Avengers
Due to last year’s great acceptance, the City Council has informed that “chairs will be provided in the arena and access to the stands, ensuring that everyone can comfortably enjoy this captivating atmosphere”.
Candlelight concerts all year round
For those who can’t make it to Moralzarzal this weekend, Candlelight concerts are held throughout Madrid throughout the year. In them, different groups of musicians perform from classical pieces to tributes to artists such as Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Taylor Swift or Nina Simone. You can check the program at this link.

Countdown to the most traditional summer festivities
As for festivals, the beginning of August in Madrid is synonymous with the start of the most traditional summer festivals par excellence: San Cayetano, San Lorenzo and, of course, La Paloma, are already warming up their engines for their kick-off on August 5.
