Julio Garcia, the manager of La Campanilla, told Europa Press that at that time his family ran another administration in the municipality and that his mother sold almost all of the 1988 Gordo.
With this, the administration has become popular, taking advantage of its strategic location within the business park. Although its fame is not as high as that of Doña Manolita in the center of Madrid, there are those who believe in the magic of places and may think that it is no coincidence that the same establishment has distributed so many Gordos in such a short time.
This year, the Christmas Lottery will distribute more than 2 500 million euros in prizes. The jackpot will be 400,000 euros per tenth, while the second prize will be 125,000 euros per tenth and the third prize will be 50,000 euros per tenth.
