Muse will return to Madrid in early 2027 for a two-night run. The British band has announced two concerts at the Movistar Arena on January 19 and 20, 2027, as part of the new European dates for their The Wow! Signal Europa Tour.
The concerts will be part of a tour that took the band across North America in 2026 and will continue this fall through the United Kingdom and various European cities. Madrid will be one of their first stops of the new year.
When do Muse tickets go on sale in Madrid?
General ticket sales will begin on Thursday, October 8, at 9:00 a.m. via the Movistar Arena website. Prices have not yet been announced.
The two concerts will be held at the Movistar Arena on Avenida de Felipe II on consecutive nights: Tuesday, January 19, and Wednesday, January 20, 2027.
The tour arrives in Madrid following a North American leg during which Muse performed at events such as Summerfest in Milwaukee, the Festival d’été de Québec, and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Before arriving in the Spanish capital, the band will also perform in the United Kingdom and other European cities.
A tour centered around *The Wow! Signal*
The tour takes its name from *The Wow! Signal*, Muse’s tenth studio album. The album includes songs such as “Nightshift Superstar,” “Be With You,” “Cryogen,” “Hexagons,” and “Unravelling.”
The album’s title itself is inspired by one of the most famous episodes in the history of the search for extraterrestrial life. In 1977, a powerful 72-second radio signal was detected coming from the direction of Sagittarius. Astronomer Jerry Ehman marked the recorded sequence and wrote the word “Wow!” next to it—the name by which the phenomenon would eventually become known.
Muse uses this theme to build an album around ideas such as extraterrestrial communication, technology, and the search for meaning. Now, that imaginative world will also come to life on stage at the Movistar Arena for two consecutive nights in Madrid.
