Broadway, New York. A premiere musical… in search of the perfect leading lady! So begins Finding Audrey, a new production in tribute to the iconic movie star we all know (yes, just the one you’re thinking of). The new musical will see the light of day in Madrid on November 27th and, be careful, it won’t be on Gran Vía: it will have its own theater. Buscando a Audrey can be seen in a space built for the occasion, the Espacio Audrey. You can already sign up to the waiting list to be the first to get tickets.
Music, fun and elegance: what you will find in the musical Looking for Audrey
Looking for Audrey is music, comedy and, above all, an entertaining tribute to one of Hollywood’s most beloved stars.
The plot will transport us to New York, where the producer in charge of the premiere of a musical about Audrey Hepburn faces the challenge of finding the ideal actress to play the leading lady. After many casting sessions, the appearance of Adri, a young woman with an authenticity and talent reminiscent of the famous actress, will turn the story upside down.
The script by José Ignacio Salmerón (comedian, screenwriter and producer) tinges the story with a cinematographic tone, sprinkled with nods to Hepburn’s life and work. The cast, selected from more than 1,500 artists, will feature Teresa Abarca in the lead role.

And the music is Grammy Award-winning! The composer Fernando Velázquez (winner of a Grammy and a Goya) is the creator of the soundtracks of hits such as Lo imposible or Ocho apellidos vascos. His music will be brought to life on stage live by 14 musicians. In addition, if you are an unconditional fan of Breakfast at Tiffany’s, we anticipate that there will be a Moon River moment, the iconic song by Henry Mancini.
A new theater in Madrid for an eternal star
To enjoy the Audrey universe to the fullest, a customized stage was needed: the Audrey Space, located in Ronda de la Comunicación (Fuencarral-El Pardo district). With more than 4,500 m2, it is one of the most versatile venues for large events in Madrid.
But the real magic will happen inside: 1450 seats, of which 146 are fully rotating, ensuring an immersive experience. In addition, there will be a catering area in the theater’s own hall.
