This weekend, the Las Rozas Fairgrounds will be transformed into a large open-air antique market. Spanning more than 15,000 square meters, the event will bring together over 150 antique dealers from all over Spain, France, and Portugal, as well as hundreds of vans loaded with vintage treasures.
The occasion is the celebration of a new edition of the 8th Gran Desembalaje de Madrid-Las Rozas, an event that has carved out a niche for itself among the major markets for antiques, collectibles, vintage items , and home decor.
Its format is what gives it its name and is the main feature that defines it: the traditional European “déballages” — —where vendors arrive with their trucks and vans loaded with items to display them directly from the vehicle.
However, there is a fundamental difference between the two, as the organizers themselves explain: “While in Europe these events are usually reserved for professionals, in Las Rozas, the Desembalaje is open to the general public.”
What kinds of items can you find at the Gran Desembalaje de Las Rozas?

Among the thousands of items to be discovered this weekend will be antiques, one-of-a-kind pieces, rarities, and iconic designs; classic, Nordic, Provençal, vintage, and outdoor furniture; tableware, linens, lighting, religious art, paintings, vinyl records, books, watches, cameras, posters, collectibles, and curiosities.
