The focus on leisure is becoming increasingly complex. It is no longer enough for shopping centers to offer a wide variety of stores; they must also feature restaurants, outdoor terraces, open-air spaces , gyms, and family-friendly areas.
LESÌX is the new shopping center set to open in northwest Madrid and meets all these criteria. It will take the place of the former Sexta Avenida shopping center, but with a fresh new look and a floor area of 16,000 square meters.
A premier destination

The main investor in LESÌX is Saint-Croix, a real estate company that has allocated nearly 40 million euros to this project. In addition, the shopping center will have 720 parking spaces, so they expect to attract a large number of customers.
Thanks to its spaces dedicated to shopping, dining, leisure, and sports, the complex aims to become a premier destination for residents of Aravaca, Pozuelo, and Majadahonda.
“We want LESÌX to be more than just a place to go for residents throughout the area: a place where they can find everything they’re looking for, at any time and every day of the week, with a dynamic offering where theycan have everything at their fingertips, ”explains Javier Mateo, CEO of Saint-Croix.
Gourmet dining

To maintain its high-end offering, the culinary design has been guided by Anson+Bonet, a consultancy with extensive experience in developing culinary concepts. There will be options for all tastes, with gourmet wine shops like Copa de Balón and traditional tapas from Hermanos Vinagre.
Among the restaurants that have already signed on, Rocacho stands out with its grilled meats and selection of rice dishes, as well as the chain La Mafia se sienta a la mesa, dedicated to high-quality Italian cuisine.
Movies, games, and sports

Meanwhile, the leisure and entertainment offerings will include Yelmo Luxury movie theaters and a Pickleball area with six courts, halfway between a social club and a sports bar.
Sports enthusiasts will also find their niche at O2 Centro Wellness, a chain of gyms already established throughout Madrid, or at a new barre studio, which combines elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga.
Mercadona will be the leading supermarket, and there will also be stores from various brands, opticians, hair salons, beauty clinics, dry cleaners, and a kids’ club.
