If there’s a world where almost anything is possible, it’s Neverland. A place where children fly, never grow up, and are surrounded by magical creatures like fairies and mermaids. This fall, Madrid will open a gateway to Neverland: “The Island of Neverland” is a theatrical acrobatics show that will take place in a 7,000-square-meter space in downtown Madrid. It will be at Espacio Delicias starting October 8 ( and you can already get your tickets here). Heads up: presale has been crazy, with over 6,000 tickets already sold.
Upon entering this space, you’ll leave Madrid behind: welcome to the world of Neverland. An immersive set design will transport you into a fantasy world before, during, and after the show. The performance combines theater with contemporary circus, the most dizzying aerial acrobatics, as well as immersive technology and a dreamlike visual narrative.
It’s no surprise that behind this show are the creative teams at LETSGO and Balinch Wonder Studio, responsible for—among other projects—the production of works such as *The Phantom of the Opera*, the Olympic Games ceremonies, and the opening ceremonies for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Everything we know about The Island of Neverland
An inspiring island, somewhat nostalgic for all of us who read the endless stories of Neverland… but also innovative: The Island of Neverland follows the life of Tempesta, daughter of Captain Hook, the fearsome pirate.
Enchanted by the beauty and possibilities of Neverland, she must decide whether to continue the pirate’s wandering life or change her family’s destiny by staying in Neverland with the Lost Boys.
But so does the audience. The show is presented as an interactive adventure that has visitors choose a side: the Lost Boys or the pirates? In this way , everyone in attendance will become part of a story that’s always in motion.
A stratospheric team
Among the big names behind this blockbuster production are Simone Ferrari and Lulu Helbaek (Creative Directors), who—among other projects—directed the ambitious opening ceremony for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics and have developed shows for Cirque du Soleil.
Also featured are Artistic Director Oriol Tomás, recipient of awards such as the Claude Rostand Grand Prize; John Metcalfe, composer and musical director who has worked as an arranger and producer for Coldplay, U2, and Sabrina Carpenter; and Edesia Moreno, with over 28 years of experience at Cirque du Soleil as an acrobatic designer.
