A return in style

The cultural day celebrated by Fnac Callao for its reopening will begin at 7:30 p.m., when the establishment will be filled with music, games and gastronomic stalls. The inauguration will be in charge of the writer Sabina Urraca and the group Niña Polaca who, as godmother and godparents, will cut the ribbon at 8:00 pm.
The concerts will be held in the forum on the second floor and will begin at 20:30 with Niña Polaca, followed by a record signing. At 21:30 it will be the turn of the band Repion and, finally, at 22:30 hours, the performance of Soleá Morente will close the event.
On the literary side, Sabina Urraca will be signing copies on the third floor from 20:30 hours, along with other great writers of the national scene. Lorenzo Silva, Carla Montero, Susana Martín Gijón, Ana Pérez, Laura Restrepo and Raquel López Pavón will complete this book signing marathon.
The extension of the building

Fnac Callao closed its doors on January 11 and is now back after several months of renovations. The new store expands its commercial area to 70% of the building’s space, compared to the 40% previously used. The result is a more open space with new areas for comics, literature, board games, records and technology.
The refurbishment maintains the essence of the store, which was the first Fnac store to open in Spain in 1993. Since then, the brand has expanded, reaching 8 stores in the Madrid region.
In addition to the singers and writers, a symbol of Fnac Callao’s culture, institutional and managerial figures will be present at the inauguration. As announced by Fnac in a press release, the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, the CEO of Fnac Darty, Enrique Martínez, and representatives of the Ministry of Culture will attend.
