It is a store promoted by Cáritaswhose objective is the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual development disorders, as well as the reuse of garments to promote sustainable fashion. It is called Moda-reand already has an army of fans on social networks.
In Moda-Re we find new and second-hand clothes from 1€, almost all from Zara, Massimo Dutti, Bershka and Pull and Bear. While bags and shoes (many for less than 10€) are often sold unworn, most of the clothes are looking for a second life. Caritas carefully selects items that have already been used to ensure that all products in the store are in perfect condition.

In 2023, Inditex allocated 8.5 million euros to Caritas, 3.5 of them to strengthen Moda-re stores spread across Spain with new openings in major cities in Spain, including rural areas of Cáceres, Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and Castilla-La Mancha.
Albert Alberich, director of Moda-re, said in his interview for Fashion United that Spain “is still at the tail end in number of used clothing stores” and that it is necessary to “multiply by three or four the current supply of outlets in the country”.
