A few days before the Christmas lights switch on in Madrid, the Christmas markets are not the only ones that make a hole in the calendar: Humanes de Madrid, 40 minutes from the capital, celebrates its own medieval market from November 21 to 23.
The event will take place in the Plaza de la Constitución in the Madrid town and its surroundings, where more than 50 craft stalls will be set up and there will be shows -including Cielo y tierra, a fire show-, theater and live folk music.
In addition, there will be other activities and attractions such as a medieval camp, workshops, historical exhibitions -of tortures and farming- and gastronomy.
