There are just two days left before Pope Leo XIV begins his four-day visit to Madrid, from June 6 to 9, during which he has packed an intense schedule of events, including visits, Masses, meetings, and speeches. But of these, only two are public events by the pontiff open to the public.
These are the vigil with young people on Saturday, June 6, at 8:30 p.m. in Plaza de Lima and the Holy Mass in Plaza de Cibeles, which the Holy Father will preside over on Sunday, June 7, at 10 a.m., followed by the Corpus Christi procession.
However, in order to attend either of these two public events featuring Pope Leo XIV in the capital, prior registration is required.
How to attend Pope Leo XIV’s public events in Madrid

To register for the events, the first step is to visit the event’s official website. Next, click on the “Agenda” tab and then on “Madrid.”
Once you’ve done that, the complete list of events will appear. When you select either one (the vigil or the Mass), you’ll see the option to register using this form. On the form, you’ll need to provide some details, such as whether you’ll be attending alone, in a group, or with family or friends, as well as other personal and identification information.
After that, you can select which of the two events you want to attend (or check both). The website also provides two maps with details on how to access each event, depending on the sector in which you are located. You can find the map for the vigil here and the map for the Mass at this link.
