AVE tickets from 15 € and Avlo from only 7 €: this Thursday, January 8 Renfe launches the ‘Superprecios’ campaign, through which train tickets can be purchased at much lower prices than usual.
The promotion, announced in X by the Minister of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Óscar Puente, will be in force until next Sunday, January 18 or, failing that, until the seats offered in the campaign run out.
The ‘Superprecios’ apply to all AVE, Avlo, Larga Distancia, Alvia, Intercity, Euromed and AVE Internacional trains.
Which destinations can you travel to with Renfe’s ‘Superprecios’?
The offer applies to the entire network of the aforementioned services, so users will be able to buy tickets at lower prices for destinations both within Spain and beyond our borders.
For example, from Madrid travelers could opt for a getaway to Spanish cities such as Granada, A Coruña, Alicante, Barcelona or Valencia; while if they wanted to travel abroad they could do so to French cities such as Marseille, Avignon, Aix en Provence, Lyon or Montpellier.

How to buy Renfe tickets at a discount?
To purchase tickets within Renfe’s ‘Superprecios’ campaign, it is enough to access the official website of the railway company and select the stations of origin and destination of the trip, as usual.
Once done, click on “Search ticket” and the calendar will show all the options and prices available for travel. If there are many travelers trying to buy tickets at the same time, before showing you the train schedules you will be redirected to a virtual queue -like the one at big concerts- that will inform you how many people are in front of you to buy tickets.
Travel on Ouigo from 9 €.
The company Ouigo has also announced a new edition of its ‘Pink Days’: it offers tickets from 9 € to 33 € to travel between January 12 and March 25. The deadline to get them is even tighter than in the case of Renfe: between January 7 and 14.
With the promotion, which includes more than 680,000 seats, you can travel to destinations such as Malaga, Cordoba, Zaragoza, Tarragona or Barcelona.
