Promote the knowledge of the neighborhoods of Madrid through its gastronomy: that is the objective behind the route of the tapa of Usera and Madrid Rio that began yesterday and will be held until next October 27. Under the title Usera and Madrid Rio. Come and live it more than 30 bars, restaurants, taverns and cafes join this gastronomic event that offers everyone who approaches a tapa and a third of Mahou for 3.50 €.
It starts a series of routes of the same characteristics that will take place until the end of 2025 in six other areas outside the center of the capital to promote the “decentralization and deseasonalization of tourism,” according to the Madrid consistory.
Thus, after passing through Usera and Madrid Rio, the call will reach Aluche and Carabanchel from November 7 to 17. And throughout 2025 it will be held in Castellana-Bernabéu, Plaza de Castilla-Cuatro Torres Business Area, Casa de Campo, Las Quintas and San Blas-Metropolitano.
