As easy as taking a Cercanías line C-4 and get off at San Sebastián de los Reyes. To take kilometer zero as a reference: if you get on the train at Sol, the journey will only take you about 30 minutes. And what you will find when you leave the station this weekend will be the celebration of its Renaissance market.
To be more precise, this is the market that the municipality hosts on the occasion of the 533rd anniversary of the founding of the city. It will be held from Friday 25 to Sunday April 27 and will be located in the vicinity of the bullring.
Throughout the stalls attendees will find direct sales of handicrafts, food, hospitality, entertainment activities and a space dedicated to the inventions of Da Vinci. In it you can see a “spectacular” reproduction of some of the great inventions that Leonardo Da Vinci made throughout his life.
Renaissance market activities
During the opening hours of the market, in addition to crafts and food, there will be thematic exhibitions, a children’s area, wooden attractions, craft and participatory workshops, itinerant entertainment… In this document is complete.
In parallel there will also be two major activities: the representation The Foundation of San Sebastian de los Reyes ( Saturday and Sunday at 12h, 13:30h, 17h and 19h) and a didactic Renaissance concert on Saturday at 17:30h.
Renaissance dances
In addition to the above proposals, there is another very original one: on April 25 from 7 pm and on April 26 at 1 pm and 7 pm the entrance hall of the “El Caserón” building will become a dance floor for Renaissance dances.
