If the Pozuelo de Alarcón Second Life Market had an entry in the RAE (Royal Spanish Academy), the definition could be the one used by the local council on its website to describe it: “A market where residents and associations in the municipality can sell or exchange items they no longer use.” And the date for the next edition of this neighborhood market has already been set: Sunday, March 15, 2026.
Plaza del Padre Vallet and Plaza Mayor in Pozuelo de Alarcón will be the venues for this hybrid market, which will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and will feature both the sale and exchange of a wide variety of items. For those who come by car, there will be a maximum rate of €7 for the whole day in the public car park in Plaza del Padre Vallet.
Residents of Pozuelo over the age of 18, as well as local associations, can participate with their own stall by registering using this form, which will remain open until Monday, February 16, 2026. The market usually has more than 150 stalls.
What items will you find (and what won’t you find) at the Second Life Market?

This type of market promotes the reuse and recycling of objects, more sustainable and environmentally responsible consumption , and, in the case of spending money at any of the local associations’ stalls, it also contributes to a charitable cause.
But what items are sold or exchanged at the Second Life Market? The catalog includes board games, musical instruments, books (as well as magazines and comics), video games, music, movies, furniture, household items, DIY and tools, decorations, clothing, and antiques.
On the other hand, there are items that are not allowed: from perishable goods such as food and beverages or medical and pharmaceutical products to chemicals, ticket resales, vaping devices, gift cards, or discount coupons.
Performances and snacks
To round off the proposal, the Second Life Market also welcomes performances by organizations in Pozuelo de Alarcón that request to participate. In addition, restaurant owners can join the event with “a special promotion and/or tapa for this day.” To do so, they must send an email with their request to comercio@pozuelo.madrid.
