Taylor Swift’s arrival in Madrid last May on the occasion of The Eras Tour had an effect similar to that of a rainy day in the capital: for a moment -for a few days- in the city everything revolved around her. More than six months later, if her fans had to answer the question of whether the fever for the artist has passed, the answer would be clear: no. And as if coming to fill that void,an exhibition about Taylor Swift is coming to Madrid next month.
After the earthquake that was her fleeting – but indelible – passage through a Bernabéu in which, at least for the moment, no more concerts can be held after neighborhood protests about the noise, this exhibition brings her back with “a journey through all eras and also through Taylor’s musical life“, as explained by the organization.
The exhibition will open its doors next October 18 and can be visited until January 12, 2025.
What will be on display at the Taylor Swift exhibition
Among the objects that will make up the exhibition, which will have an extension of 300 m², will be all the covers of her albums in giant size and there will also be guitars, a representation of her most iconic dresses and hundreds of books and magazines. “In addition to other surprises that visitors will be able to enjoy when they go to see her,” they indicate.
As confirmed by the organization to the X account (formerly Twitter) @taylorswiftes_, the objects will not be original, unlike other exhibitions like the free one that could be seen until just a few days ago in London. However, in conversation with this media, they assure that this “is more varied” than the London or the New York one.
Although there are still questions in the air, we will have to wait for the opening to clear them up: “we do not want to decipher everything in detail so as not to detract from the surprise, but I assure you that it is designed so that everyone who visits, whether Taylor fan or not, will be delighted,” they say.
Location and tickets
The exhibition will be installed at Espacio Soho (Plaza de España, 6). Tickets can be purchased from 12€ (passes are every half hour) and are on sale at the exhibition’s official website.
