This March, the Museum of Romanticism opened an exhibition featuring more than 40 designs by designers such as Cristóbal Balenciaga, Manuel Pertegaz, and Sybilla, reinterpreting Romantic fashion. Now, three exclusive designs by Palomo Spain, Ana Locking, and María Escoté —inspired by the fashion of *Bridgerton*— have been added to this selection.
These designs—which were worn by Lalachus, Manu Moreno, and Iera Paperlight for a masked ball featured in the series, held at El Casino de Madrid last February—will be on display as part of the exhibition tour for a limited time: from March 20 to May 17, 2026, in the museum’s Sala Teatrino.
The dialogue between this 19th-century romantic imagery and contemporary fashion will become even more evident next Thursday, March 19, at 6 p.m., with the special discussion “From Romantic Fashion to The Bridgertons,” which will conclude with a surprise, according to the museum.
The talk will feature Palomo Spain and Ana Locking (both National Fashion Award winners) and one of the exhibition’s curators, Josep Casamartina—whom, by the way, we interviewed here starting at 01:28:35 in our weekly segment on Hoy por Hoy Madrid. The conversation will be moderated by Myriam Wais, Head of Communications at Peris Costume.
How to get tickets?

Seats for the discussion are very limited and will be allocated by lottery among those who register for the event using this form. Registration opens on Monday the 16th at 10 a.m. and will remain open until Tuesday the 17th at 10 a.m.
The drawing will take place that same day at 12 p.m., and the museum will contact only those who have been randomly selected. As for the outfits inspired by the series, they can be viewed as part of the exhibition by purchasing a general admission ticket, which includes this temporary exhibition.
Although these special designs will only be on display until May 17, the exhibition will run until June 7, 2026. Admission is free until March 20, but there are other occasions and groups that can enter at no cost.
Madrid and The Bridgertons

The connection between the Netflix series and the capital extends to other parts of the city: to mark the premiere of the new season, the actors and actresses visited the city and stopped at places like the La Dolores tavern and the Royal Palace.
Meanwhile, the essence of this celebrated series can be found at other locations in Madrid, such as the Ilustre Colegio Oficial de Médicos (51 Santa Isabel Street), which is hosting candlelit concerts featuring the series’ soundtrack through June.
