Pricing unique garments that have already been used is not always easy. But in this store they have it clear: instead of using labels and checkout, the clothes are weighed. At a price of 14.95€ per kilo, customers can choose as many garments as they want and check on a scale how much they will cost, as if they were in a greengrocer’s shop.
USADEPOT brings to Madrid T-shirts, pants, dresses, coats, sweatshirts, jackets and sportswear from the U.S. All items are previously selected and checked, following a washing and reconditioning process that allows them to have a second life.
This new model for buying vintage clothing began with a store in A Coruña and is now also located south of Madrid, in a warehouse of more than 500 square meters. About 30 minutes from downtown, USADEPOT is located on Avenida Humanes, 187 in Griñón, and is open every day. Every week they renew their hangers to offer a unique experience to those looking for original second-hand clothes at a low price.
Brands at a closed price

In addition to clothes that are bought by the kilo, there are others that are branded and carry their own yellow price-locked label. They are also second hand and cost much less than a new one, reaching a maximum of 20 euros.
Levi`s, Nike, North Face, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger or Ralph Lauren are some of the brands that can be found in this category. Although they do not have to go through the scale, the prices are still low: North Face linings for 10 euros, Levi’s jeans for 7 or Adidas for 6. And those looking for an accessory can find caps and socks from 2.99 euros.
Sustainable consumption for everyone

USADEPOT joins the sustainable consumption and vintage fashion options, which are growing more and more in Madrid. Its catalog stands out for its U.S. origin and has a wide variety of sizes to reach all audiences, as well as clothing for women, men and unisex.
In their store they also reserve a space for children’s garments that, instead of being weighed, have their own offer: 3 garments for 3.99 euros. In this way, those who wish to bet on second-hand clothing will be able to find options for the whole family.
Getting to USADEPOT by public transport
USADEPOT’s large warehouse is not in the center of Madrid. The most direct way to get there is by car, but there are options with a slightly longer journey to access by public transport.
The recommended route is to take the C-4 commuter line to Getafe Central and, from there, bus 468 with a stop on the M-405 Polígono Industrial Las Naciones road, just a minute’s walk from the facility.
