This year, the Fourth of July has not been a holiday for Americans alone. Also the Madrilenians of Usera have celebrated. On that day, the first events in Honor of the Patron Saint ofSan Fermínbegan in the neighborhood of San Fermín. Between Friday,July 5 and Sunday, July 7, there will be shows ideal for sharing with friends and family: from brass bands to DJ sessions.
A Program with a lot of Music
On Friday 5 we will have at the “Sanfermines the “Madrilenians to Tarambana, a brass band that will tour the streets of the neighborhood at 9:00 pm. An hour and a half later, a neighborhood dinner will take place at the Centro de Mayores San Fermín, to which we can all bring our best recipes (as long as we can bring our best recipes) let’s reserve a table). Starting at 10:30 p.m., on the San Fermin Avenue stage, the music will be back: the night will open with DJ Set Flexy Lead and will continue with artists of all kinds. Flamenco, rap and rock rhythms are just some of the rhythms that will be played on this first day of celebration.
Saturday night will kick off with the musical Peter Pan which will begin at 8:45 pm. Then, at 22:30 h, there will be a youth macro-party by DJ Jonathan Espinosa. It will be in Motril Street and, simultaneously, there will be an orchestra session in San Fermín Avenue.
On Sunday, the last day of Sanfermines, there will be very interesting and varied activities starting in the morning. At 10:00 a.m., visits to the Parque Lineal de Manzanares will be organized, so that we can learn about the flora of the natural environment of the neighborhood. At half past one in the afternoon, paella tasting, which could not be missed. As a closing, concert by Ezequiel Montoya (finalist of La Voz) and, from 00:00 h, fireworks. A foam party with DJ Toni West will put the finishing touch to the celebrations, which promise to get everyone dancing.
