The music industry organizes a new initiative to help families affected by the DANA through songs: a series of solidarity concerts in which more than 200 renowned artists will help to raise funds. The idea has come from different musical entities that have come together to create Som València, a non-profit project born as a result of the natural disaster that has wreaked havoc in the Valencian Community.
Som València has the collaboration of the Horta Sud Foundation, which has been strengthening the cultural and social fabric of the Valencian Community for 52 years. Through this association, all funds raised will go entirely to the victims of the floods.
The concerts will start on November 11 in Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Malaga, Lleida, Girona, Burgos, San Sebastian, Bilbao, Sabadell, Manresa and Vic (more cities are expected to join during the week).
Participating musicians
The list of participating musicians shows artists from very different genres: from Judeline, who has just released her debut album, to Israel B with her rap tracks, passing through Sexy Zebras, Niña Polaca, Ginebras, La M.O.D.A, Alba Reche, Zahara, Carolina Durante and more well-known names in the Spanish music scene.
All tickets are priced between 15 and 20 euros. They will be on sale from Thursday, November 7 at 12:00 noon, with the possibility of acquiring a row 0 for those who can not attend or want to donate more.
