Valencia has suffered the worst flooding recorded in Spain in the last 75 years. The images from the Levantine community show a desolate landscape: cars inside school classrooms, bridges collapsed by the flow of water, people on top of trucks, crops destroyed, houses in ruins and many other distressing scenes. To help the victims of this natural disaster To help the victims of this natural disaster, Madrid is calling for action: there will be supply collections this week.
Where will the collection points be set up?
With the collaboration of the Madrid Federation of Municipalities (FMM), the Madrid City Council has enabled 22 points to make donations to the victims of the catastrophe. They are distributed in the 21 districts of the capital. We can bring basic necessities (milk, water, baby food, diapers, buckets, shovels…) every day of the week, from nine in the morning until nine at night. The Municipal Police and SAMUR-Protección Civil staff are in charge of sorting the material.
